Each tour has been carefully planned with different features to take in the most popular cities and the most important cultural and historical relics of each region, and to show you as many sides of the country as possible. The tour programme is usually full each day from early morning to early evening.
The itineraries which we have carefully compiled provide a general guideline, and occasionally may have to be varied due to local conditions e.g. the sequence in which cities and places are visited. In such an event, the programme and the number of days of the tour will not be affected. Final travel arrangements will be advised with your travel documentation. Transportation arrangements between cities, by air or by train/coach, may sometimes, though rarely, be subject to disruption or delay. We have no control over such variations as all final arrangements are at the discretion of the State Tourist organisations.
We use various scheduled airlines for our tours. Sometimes, though rarely, we may have to change the airlines as listed in the itinerary, to improve the travel schedule.
We have selected specific 4 / 5 star hotels throughout our tours although we cannot always guarantee the availability of our choice. In such circumstances, similar or better class hotels will be provided. The price of the tour is per person based on the occupancy of a twin or double bedded room by two persons.
Single Room Supplement
In many cases, single rooms are twin rooms offered for single occupancy. Single rooms may be arranged on request with supplement, except on board the Yangtze cruise where single rooms are not available.
We have selected the best ship available for our tour. Our modern luxury river cruiser, although it cannot compare to an ocean going liner, due to its restricted size, offers comfortable cabins with private facilities (including shower), outward facing windows, air conditioning and TV.. On board facilities include a dining hall, beauty salon, lounge, coffee room, gym, games room and an observation platform.
Please refer to each tour itinerary for the meal plan.
For all tours, Western (buffet style) breakfast will be provided daily at your hotel.
- In China, lunch and dinner, as specified in the itinerary, will be in a variety of Chinese cuisines, at local restaurants.
- In Vietnam and Cambodia, lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants, as specified in the itinerary.
- In India, the meals as specified in the itinerary, will be provided in hotels.
Tour Escorts and Guides

For special or large groups an experienced tour escort/leader will accompany the group from Dublin and throughout the trip.
