Hanoi(3N) – Halong Bay(1N) – Hue(1N) – Hoi An(3N) – Ho Chi Minh City(3N) – Mekong Delta – Siem Reap(3N) + 1N Kuala Lumpur Stopover
The incredibly beautiful country of Vietnam stretches to over 1600 km from North to South, with over 3400 km of idyllic coastline.
This is a place with much to offer visitors, from its friendly smiling inhabitants, ethnic culture, bustling markets and colonial architecture to its spectacular mountains, shimmering paddy fields, near impossible boulder formations and beautiful beaches. Vietnam is a country that is particularly attractive to tourists also, with its well deserved reputation of being one of the safest countries in Asia.
Our tour of Vietnam begins in the capital city of Hanoi, a pleasant and enchanting city, with wide tree-lined boulevards, faded grandiose villas, misty lakes and verdant parks. Our next stop is one of the most scenic spots in all of Vietnam: Halong Bay.
Relax on a private luxury junk boat (overnight) and see the beauty of Halong Bay in the morning as the sun rises. Next on our itinerary is the ancient imperial city, and later the feudal capital of Hue, set along the banks of the Perfume River. Hue is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, royal palaces, royal tombs etc. We continue our tour to the exceptionally well preserved former trading port of Hoi An. A major trading port in the 16th century, mainly in ceramics.
Our final destination in Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh City. Sitting on a giant bend of the Saigon River, it is still often referred to as Saigon. It was here, at the Reunification Palace (formerly the Presidential Palace) that the last days of the Vietnam war were played out. From HCMC we explore, with a cruise on the Mekong River, one of the most fertile regions of the world: the Mekong Delta.
Our visit to Cambodia is to the main tourist attraction: Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat with its vast complex of temple ruins. The architectural legacy left by the Khmer empire dazzles Cambodia’s visitors. Over the centuries, the jungle has reclaimed its position amidst the architecture to create magical unions of stone and nature.
Another wonderful aspect of this country is the incredible friendliness of its people providing a warm welcome for visitors.
For this tour we will be staying in specially selected 4/5 star hotels throughout.
An outstanding value for money tour when you see all that is included.
